Feedfast for Android

Block the scroll.
Keep your phone.

Feedfast blocks the apps and the endless Reels that pull you away, so your study hours stay yours. Calm, private, and on your terms.

Why Feedfast

Ten minutes of Reels
is never ten minutes.

Apps are built to keep you scrolling. Feedfast puts a calm pause between you and the habit, so you decide when your phone gets your attention, not the feed.

How it works

Set it up once.
Focus every day.

01

Pick what pulls you in.

Choose the apps that eat your time. Free covers 5 apps; Premium covers as many as you like. Calls, messages and Settings always stay open.

02

Start a focus session.

Pick how long, from 15 minutes to 2 hours (up to 12 with Premium). Go strict when you really mean it: no breaks, no ending early.

03

A calm pause, not a lecture.

Open a blocked app and Feedfast shows a quiet screen with your own facts, like how often you stayed away today. Need a minute? Short breaks come with a pause first.

04

See your week, not a guilt trip.

Insights show the hours you focused and the urges you skipped, calculated on your phone and never sent anywhere.

Reels and Shorts

Keep the app.
Lose the feed.

Block only the short-video feed and keep everything else: messages, search, groups and your profile. Tap into Reels and Feedfast takes you back home, with a small note that says why.

Switch each one on or off any time in Rules › Reels. Apps change their layout often; Feedfast fetches fixes by itself.

Four ways to focus

A mode for
every kind of day.

Focus

Block your list for 15 minutes to 2 hours, or up to 12 with Premium. Strict mode when you mean it.

Pomodoro

Focus rounds with short breaks in between. Only the focus rounds block. Set your own rounds with Premium.

Exam mode

Only the apps you need for studying open. Everything else waits, even apps you install later. Count down to your exam date.

Lend phone

Hand your phone to someone with only the apps you pick. When time is up, every app locks until you unlock with your own screen lock.

Rules that run themselves

School hours. Bedtime.
Handled.

  • Schedules block apps at the same time every week, like class time or after 11 PM.
  • Daily limits give an app a set amount of time per day, with a heads-up 5 minutes before.
  • “How long?” asks how many minutes you want before an app opens, then holds you to it.
  • Partner lock lets a friend hold the code to your strict rules (Premium).

Feedfast uses Android’s Accessibility Service only to see which app is open and to recognise a Reels feed. It never reads your messages or what you type, never records the screen, and never sends what it sees anywhere.

Questions, answered.

Why does Feedfast need Accessibility?

It’s the only way Android lets an app see which app is open, so the block screen can appear for the apps you chose. Android never lets an app switch it on with a pop-up: you turn it on yourself in Settings, and you can turn it off at any time.

Can I still call and text?

Always. Calls, messages, keyboards, emergency, Settings and the Play Store are never blocked, and nothing is blocked during a phone or video call.

Does it work on my phone?

Feedfast runs on Android 8 and newer. Some phones (OPPO, realme, Xiaomi, vivo, Samsung) turn background apps off to save battery; the help page shows the one setting to change.

Can I stop a strict session?

In the first 30 seconds you can undo it. After that, Feedfast keeps the block until it ends, unless a friend holds your partner-lock code. That’s the point of strict.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Feedfast is Android only for now.
